What can I say except that my experience with Powell was excellent. Dealing with credit issues is never easy however with Angela`s help and some counselling (and lots of sacrifice and support from my spouse) I was able to put myself back on my feet in 3 years instead of 5 and now at the age of 48 I can say that I am completely debt free( vehicle not included) all thanks to Angela and Powell Associates Ltd.

They're VERY helpful at what is likely a time when you'll need help the most. No judgement just straight forward. They give guidance at a time when you'll feel lost and unsure of what to do next. I highly recommend Powell Associates Ltd.

I highly recommend Powell Associates to anyone that feels like their stuck and no one can help! I was nervous too and I’m glad I made the jump. They treated me so much like a real person and not a just another client! They are always available when I have any questions and answer very speedy and accordingly. I never felt lost or in the dust. I felt more confident in my decision making process. Best decision I made wish I reached out sooner!

Every step of the way, I can always count on Powell Associates to explain and guide me to what I need to do. I never felt I was being judge for the situation I was in. They are professional and gave me the tools to work with. The classes I took were very educational and another freat tool to fall back on. I have nothing but good things to say about Powell. On the surface consumer proposals or bankruptcy seem like the worst thing that can happen to you, but it’s really the opposite.They are a simple solution that seems intimidating but once you do the paperwork and discuss your issues, it gets easier. After 5 years most people can reset their credit and start over. My fiancé and I had very bad debt and once we talked to Powell they explained how we can avoid being buried by heavy credit card payments, loans and interest piling up. They will make an arrangement (depending on your situations needs) that works for you in 1 monthly payment. That payment becomes the only new payment you need to make and your creditors legally leave you alone because of Powell. This is much much cheaper. It allowed us to start over and not go broke being a slave to our debt. Debt happens to almost everyone and they don’t judge what your story is.

My partner and I are very grateful for the support and coaching that we received through this process. We just recently graduated from our final session! We were very nervous and feeling really down about our situation but Powell Associates made it an extremely positive experience through helpful guidance and a non-judgmental lens. When all hope felt lost, Powell gave it back to us. Don’t hesitate to ask for help and if you are thinking about going this route, 10/10 this is the best decision you could make for yourself!The modules are easy and quick to complete prior to each video session (total of 2) and make the world of difference. Everything is broken down into steps that make sense and are easier than you think to implement in your daily lives and towards your financial goals! Everyone is also very kind, welcoming, and reassuring which is exactly what you are looking for.100% recommend!

I hired their services once, and, although it all lasted one year (during that time they supported, educated, and helped me in every way possible), to this day, they’ve never left me to my own devices any time I needed extra help. It is unfortunate that their services is the type one wishes never need again, but if I ever do, it’d be to them I’d go back to. To everyone at Powell, my most sincere thank you.

How old this place is a disgrace like that person with the st review I had a trustee there that they said moved on, but didn't still work for the company and a guy named David Moffat took over my file come to find out that the person I originally dealing with was still there. It's been a nightmare ever since I have withdrawn from my consumer proposal. Because I figure it would be easier to deal with my creditors and have to deal with the nonsense what these people bring, do yourself a favor stay far, far away from this company, they will ruin your day, they will ruin your life and they will just make your life unbearable. Deal with your creditors don't deal with these people.You'll be better off

I have been in debt for a few years. Widowed and living paycheque to paycheque. Sleepless nights, avoiding answering my phone due to creditors, worried about being garnished and loosing my house. Great people to deal with really helped me out

I can't put into words how much I appreciate everything that Powell Associates has done for me. They are very knowledgeable and professional, they walked me thru every step of the way and I didn't have to worry about creditors calling they took care of everything. Bob Hauck is a awesome counselor and he gave me so much hope and taught me so much. If you find your stress out over your credit cards or loans give them a call they would be more then happy to help you , I'm so happy I did. Thank you again for everything .

I have had a very positive experience with Powell Associates help. I have a better outlook on things going forward. The ppl are very nice and explain things well and make you feel convertible talking about your financial issues. I recommend them to anyone.

I worked with Powell and associates after I had to use my savings for my expenses whilst waiting to have a disability claim processed. My debt became unmanageable and although I was paying as much as I could every month, my balance wasn't going down at RBC. Powell worked on my behalf to create a consumer proposal and arranged credit counselling for me to be able to catch up and I'm in the black now and I have savings. Would certainly recommend. The amount of stress debt can cause is not worth it when there's help like this available. I feel so much more at ease now and can focus on something else other than how to pay down my debt.

This company is extremely helpful. Takes care of everything, including taking away the stress during these times, gives steps on the process and provide excellent counselling sessions to assist you in planning for the future.
